My favorite Japanese food(Week9)

Hello, everyone. Today, I want to introduce my favorite Japanese food. My favorite Japanese food is sushi, sashimi, tempura, udon, soba, somen, and chirashizushi. I like Japanese food better than any other food. Why? Japanese food is low calories and very healthy. Nowadays, Japanese food is very popular all over the world. How about American food? American food is very high calories. What comes to your mind when you hear “American food”? Many people will answer hamburger, steak, or other things. Do you know what chirashizushi is? Chirashizushi is a kind of sushi to be able to scatter ingredients on a sushi meal (vinegar meal) which you supplied a caliber with, and to make. In addition, it is often eaten in the case of the auspicious occasion including the Doll's Festival. As for the seed to use, a thing used for tuna negitoro, a scallop, a salmon, a cuttlefish, prawns, an octopus, salmon roe, a sea urchin, the fishery products such as crabs and an omelet (shredded omelet), material of the sushi including the gully is common. I like these kinds of Japanese food very much.

My favorite animals(Week8)

I like many kinds of animals. For example, my favorite animal is rabbits, dogs, cats, tigers, cheetahs, lions, penguins, giraffes, birds, hamsters, polar bears, and peacocks. In fact, I like cats better than dogs. In contrast, I dislike snakes, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, elephants, monkeys, and rhinoceroses. Why I dislike these animals? I think that these animals are very dirty and stinky. Even so, I don’t dislike these animals. When I was a child, I used to go to the zoo near my house with my family. However, I went there 4 years ago for an excursion. I really want pets, but I can’t because I live in an apartment. If I get married, I want two cats, two hamsters, and a dog in the future. Also, I don’t want to be a breeding staff. If I had had pets, I would have been happy.

My favorite shops(Week7)

My favorite shop is Mister Donut, McDonald's, SUBWAY, FRESHNESS BURGER, Baskin-Robbins, Starbucks, Family mart, LAWSON, 7-Eleven, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and TSUTAYA. I sometimes go to the convenience store to buy some food near my house, and I often buy rice ball, drinks, and sandwiches. When I was an elementary school student, I rarely go to Starbucks. Because, the price was a little expensive to me. But now, I sometimes go to Starbucks near the university. At first, I didn't know SUBWAY and FRESHNESS BURGER. Also, I didn't know where these shops are. However, my older brother recommended SUBWAY. The price is not so cheap, and the taste is really good. I like SUBWAY and FRESHNESS BURGER better than McDonald's. I love Baskin-Robbins, too. I want to work at Baskin-Robbins some day. I sometimes go to TSUTAYA to buy some CDs. I bought three CDs yesterday.

My favorite season(Week6)

 like spring better than any other season. Why? Because, I like cherry blossoms very much. In spring, it is slightly chilly, but it is warm. Many people can go to the cherry blossoms in Kumamoto Castle, too. Cherry blossoms are very beautiful and pretty. Cherry blossoms have a language of flower. Cherry blossoms mean purity. At first, I didn't know that. I like autumn, too. Why I like autumn? Because, this season is my birthday month. My birthday is November 6th, so I will be 20 years old next month. I'm looking forward to my birthday because I can smoke or drink alcohol. Autumn is slightly chilly, as well.

In contrast, I don't like summer and winter very much. Summer is very hot, and winter is very cold. However, Kumamoto prefecture is not hotter than Okinawa prefecture.

My favorite fruit and vegetables(week5)

I like many kinds of fruit and vegetables. My favorite fruit is strawberries, peaches, bananas, grapes, mangoes, blueberries, lemons, raspberries, pineapples, pears, melons, loquats, and the others. I like fruit cake, fruit parfait, and fruit tart the best. In addition, my favorite vegetable is carrots, lettuces, eggplants, cabbages, lotus roots, taros, sweet potatoes, potatoes, Chinese cabbages, garlics, cucumbers, green peppers, watermelons, tomatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, spinaches, broccoli, corns, asparagus, radish, and others. I don't like gingers because gingers are very strong smells. However, I can eat gingers. I don't like avocadoes, either. Avocadoes don't any taste. My mother says that avocadoes are very delicious. I don't think so. If it is true, I want to eat avocadoes someday.

My favorite drink(Week4)

My favorite drink is cola, orange juice, apple juice, green tea, bourbon, beer, ice-cream soda, milk, water, fruit juice, oolong tea, coffee, barley tea, and ginger ale. I like drinking ginger ale, but I don't like gingers because gingers are very strong smells. However, I hear that gingers are very good for poor circulation. I intend to drink ginger tea. I have drunk red wine once, and I challenged tequila and whisky, but I had a hangover last year. I’m not a strong drinker, so I don't want to try it anymore.

Also, I want to challenge gin and volka someday.  Perhaps I can't drink it. I will be 20 years old next month, so I can drink alcohol with my parents.  I became 20 years old, so I enjoy drinking alcohol.

Something special I did during this vacation

I went to Aso Shrine and Nabegataki with my family during this summer. Aso Shrine is famous for god of marriage. I heard that Aso Shrine is famous for the god of marriage, but I went there for the first time. Aso Shrine was very nice and huge. Nabegataki is a very nice place to visit, as well. Nabegataki can be in the backside.  As for the curtain of flowing water, an anion is plentiful. Also, mind and body can refresh you. At first, I didn't know the name of that place. If you go to Aso, I recommend you some day. It's in Ogni.

My favorite desserts(Week3)

I like many kinds of desserts. For example, my favorite desserts are chocolate cake, ice cream, zenzai, anmitsu, pancake, pudding, cookies, cream puff, cheesecake, donuts, roll cake, fruit parfait, gateau au chocolat, waffle and the others. I sometimes spend money for these desserts, so I like desserts very much. Also, I often go to Starbucks and thirty one ice cream shop by myself. When I was a junior high school student, I rarely went to Starbucks because Starbucks is a little expensive for me. The other day, I went to Nabeshima with my family and my older brother's girlfriend. My mother, his girlfriend, and I ate pudding there. That was the most delicious pudding that I have ever eaten. I want to eat some day. I want to lose my weight because I will wear furisode for coming-of-age ceremony next year.

(Good points about summer)

Summer is better than any other season. For example, there are a lot of festivals or concerts(for example, ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL, and the others). In summer, people can swim in the river or beautiful ocean. Also, there are a lot of people camping in a car. There are lots of fireworks displays in Japan in summer, and e wear yukata for festivals or firework displays. 

(Bad points about summer)

There are a lot of mosquitoes or mites in summer. In addition, dengue fever and Ebola hemorrhagic fever were fashionable in this summer. Moreover, ultraviolet rays are very strong, too. It is easy to get sick in the summer, as well. In another example, it is hot and humid in the summer. Also, moisture is high.

My favorite Japanese singer(Week1)

My favorite Japanese singer is miwa. Do you know her? She is a singer-song writer who was born in Kanagawa prefecture in 1990. So, she is 24 years. Her height is 149cm. Can you believe it? She plays the acoustic guitar and electric guitar. She is really cute. I like her everything. She graduated from Keio University last year. I like her very much. Particularly, my favorite sing is “Faith”, “Hikarie”, and “don't cry anymore”. These songs are very nice. She will appear for the movie next year. I'm looking forward to seeing it. The title is “Maestro”. If you don’t know about her, please listen to her songs someday. Maybe, her songs will cheer you up.

My favorite food or drink(Week2)

My favorite food is Sashimi, sushi, Soba, Tempura, Chinese noodle, beef steak, chocolate cakes, cookies, ice cream, hamburger, spaghetti, udon, and the others. I like Japanese food, too. I sometimes go to Sushi Ichiba, FRESHNESS BURGER, 31 ice cream shop, Starbucks, SUBWAY, FRESHNESS BURGER, and McDonald's with my family or friends. My favorite ice cream flavor is Strawberry cheese cake and banana and strawberry. These are my favorite. I often go to these shops by myself after school, too. I like alcohol, too. I like drinking a glass of beer, but I rarely drink wine or shochu and soda. I challanged tequila and whisky last year. The taste wasn't bad, but I was nauseous and had a terrible migraine. That was the reason why I had a hangover last year.

My vacation plan(Week 1)

In September 15th and 16th, I went to Aso with my family. My father and I celebrated my mother because her birthday was in September 16th.

I have wanted to go to Imakin Shokudo for a long time, but there were a lot of people. If I went there, I would be kept waiting for three hours.

Fortunately, I could eat Akaushi. I felt very happy.

I stayed at the cottage in Aso, too. The cottage was really nice! There was the reserved outdoor hot spring, too. The hot spring felt really nice, too. Furthermore, the dinner had many kinds of dishes. I played cards with my family. Next day, we went to Aso Farm Land and Nabegataki. Do you know Nabegataki? At first, I didn't know that. Nabegataki is a very nice place to visit. Upper was a little hot, but it was cool when you withdrew below. I ate Aso jersey soft ice cream. I had a very good time during this summer vacation.

About my hometown

About my hometown

 

I was born in Arao, but now, I live in Kumamoto city with my parents. I don’t have any memories in Arao because I lived only a week. Kumamoto city is very nice place to live, and there are a lot of famous places. For example, Kumamoto is famous for Kumamoto Castle, Mt. Aso, Kurokawa hot spring, Amakusa, Hinokuni Festival, Fujisaki Shrine, Kumamon, and the others. Many people visit there. There are many kinds of delicious food in Kumamoto, too. In particular, Horse meat, Higo meat, Taipien, and Karashi renkon are very famous. Kumamoto’s vegetables (for example, tomatoes, watermelons, green peppers, eggplants, and spinaches) are very fresh and delicious. In Amakusa, there are a lot of beautiful beaches. And, Amakusa’s bowl of rice topped with sashimi is very delicious, too.

The people of Kumamoto speak Kumamoto dialect, and Kumamoto accents are a little different from other accents. I think that it’s very difficult for many people to speak Kumamoto dialects. If you come to Kumamoto, please challenge! It’s very interesting, and it’s also a good study for you.

 

In addition, Kumamon is very popular in the Europe countries and other countries, and there are a lot of Kumamon’s goods. He is very strange and funny.

 

In summer, it’s very hot and humid. In winter, it’s very cold here in Kumamoto. But, it is neither hot nor cold here in Kumamoto. Kumamoto prefecture has less damage of the typhoon than other prefectures. Also, Kumamoto prefecture was authorized in 2012 by the ordinance-designated city.

 

However, Kumamoto was hit by torrential rain generated around North Kyushu from July 11, 2012 through July 14. In four days, 27 injured people appeared 30 dead people more.

 

 

As you can see, Kumamoto prefecture is a very nice place to visit. If you come to Kumamoto, I will tell you about Kumamoto’s history.

Our school started in April 1^st, in 2014, so I became a sophomore. Many senpais say that sophomore is very important and busy in this year. As for this year, I don’t want to lose some credits. My favorite movie is “A Song to the Sun”. It was a movie shown in 2006, and YUI, is a singer-songwriter, who is from Fukuoka prefecture, performed in it. She was 19 years old in those days, and she played a position 16-year-old Kaoru Amane with a disease called the Xeroderma Pigmentosum(XP) that couldn’t be expose to the solar light. When I saw this movie, I cried a lot. I recommend this movie. Please see this movie someday. It’s a very nice movie.

Week8(Foreign countries)

I have never been to foreign countries since I was born. My parents have been to Canada once, my grandmother has lived in Canada, and my older brother has been to Hawaii with his girlfriend. I am very jealous of that. I think foreign countries are very nice place for sightseeing, and there are a lot of famous places. I want to go to Canada, the U.S, the U.K, Australia, and New Zealand someday. I want to talk many people in English, and I want to eat a lot of food. But I don’t want to go to China and Korea. I think that these countries are very crazy and dangerous for me.

Week15(Vacation Plans)

I haven't decided my vacation plans yet, but I would like to go to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Hokkaido. I have never been to Tokyo, so I'd like to go to Tokyo Disney Sea, Tokyo sky tree, and Tokyo Disney Resort with my friends. I want to go shopping, eat some delicious food, and buy some clothes, too. I have been to Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara for a school trip, but it wasn't a good memory for me because I had a bad stomachache at that time. As for this year, I want to go again. I don’t want to spend much money, but I want to buy some souvenirs.

I have 2 cell phones. One is iPhone5, and the other is a Galapagos cell phone. When I was a junior high school student, my father bought it to me. The maker was Softbank, and the color was pink. I liked my Galapagos cell phone very much, but there were a lot of cracks in my cell phone. I changed it iPhone5 into Galapagos cell phone. I want to change it into iPhone5s from iPhone5 because many people use it. I’m very jealous of it.

About my part-time job(week13)

I had a part-time job before. I worked at cake shop near my house. The name of the shop is called "Kaju". I worked three or four times in a week. Father of the classmate of my junior high school was a chef owner. I was very surprised. There were a lot of working students. There are many kinds of cake and baked sweets. I'm studying some subjects. I failed 6 subjects last year, so I have to study again. I don't want to fail 6 credits, and I want to get all credits. If I don't acquire enough credits, I can't graduate from university. I have to study harder and harder, and I have to do my homework.

My favorite Japanese rock band

My favorite rock band Silent Siren, and SCANDAL. Many people know the rock band called SCANDAL, but they may not know the rock band called Silent Siren. Silent Siren is a rock band which was formed in 2010 by a reader model. Their members are Sumire Yoshida(vocal and guitar), Hinako Umemura(drums), Aina Yamauchi(bass and chorus), and Yukako Kurosaka(keyboard and chorus).  I like Silent Siren very much.

My treasure is my family. I want to introduce my family. I am 4 families. My father, my mother, my older brother, and I. My father works in the Kumamoto Prefectural Capital. He is a police officer. He is 48 years old. He sometimes treats me like a kid, and he always smokes a lot. He sometimes angers at me. My father always says to me, “Do your homework, and study hard!” Though I don’t want to hear these words over and over again, I thought that my father always thinks of me and quarrels.

 

My mother is 49 years old, and she is very good at cooking. My favorite food is omelet and miso soup which my mother makes. I want to become like her because she always makes me some delicious dishes. I want to learn many kinds of dishes from my mother. If I become an adult, I have to help my mother because she is getting old.

 

I have an older brother. He is 26 years old. My brother is 6 years older than I am. My older brother graduated from Kumamoto University 4 years ago, and now, he works in the Kumamoto Saiseikai Hospital. He is a radiologist. My older brother is very smart, funny, and flexible. He sometimes comes back to my house suddenly. I’m very close to my older brother. His favorite Japanese rock band is B’z. He has been their fan for 26 years. I like B’z, too. I went to Kyushu Gakuin high school. I went to school by city train. When I was in high school, I belonged to the chorus club. I’m not good at singing, but it was a good experience for me. There were a few people in our club. My part was alto, and mezzo soprano. Our high school teachers were very kind to me.

 

My favorite food is curry and rice, spaghetti, beef stew, cream stew, miso soup, many kinds of cake, cookies, ramen, pizza, ice cream, yakisoba, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and so on.
