Today, I will introduce something that I love. I have many kinds of things that I love.

              First, I love my niece. I have some pictures to show you on my iPhone6s. Look at these pictures. This is my niece, and her name is Yumi. She is really cute and charming, isn’t it? She always shows us smiles, so her smile makes us happy. She was born in April 26th of last year. So Yumi is 1 year old now. She is my older brother’s daughter. I sometimes take care of my niece with my parents, and take a walk with my older brother and his wife. I look forward to her growth.

              Next, I love my stuffed toy. I like my stuffed toy very much. Look at this picture. It is really cute, isn’t it? The name of this stuffed toy is StellaLou. This is a rabbit, and she is a girl. She wants to become a dancer. I bought this stuffed toy last week because many people bought it. I went to Tokyo Disney Sea with my parents. This is a new character of Tokyo Disney Sea. I like it very much.

             

Finally, I love my best friend. Her name is Narumi, and she works at the Drugstore Mori now. We are still good friends even now. Narumi is a little shy, but she is always kind to me. She went to Kyushu Gakuin high school, and she belonged to the chorus club. Her sings the alto part, so I sometimes helped her. I practiced with her after school, too. Narumi and I went to Huis Ten Bosch this spring vacation. She also likes Fukuyama Masaharu and Exile, and so do I. I bought some souvenirs for her, my parents, older brother and his wife, and my niece. They liked very much.

I also have a niece. My niece’s name is Yumi, She is 21 years old, and she is a college student. She goes to Kumamoto University by motorcycle. Yumi likes studying very much. She is good at mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science, but she is not good at Japanese history and old Japanese classical literature. She wants to be a doctor in the future. She also likes to cook.

Satoshi is 12 years old. He belongs to the baseball club. His dream is to be a professional baseball player. He always plays baseball with his friends after school. His position is catcher. Satoshi also likes to listen to music. His favorite British artist is the Beatles. He loves Paul McCartney. He is interested in the bass guitar. He is a left-handed person, so he wants to buy a bass guitar that is left-handed. Aina and Satoshi always help me, and they sometimes take care of Ritsuki. He will be a junior high school student next year, so he is studying English, Japanese, mathematics, science, and social studies with his friends.

He is as tall as my father. He graduated from Kumamoto University 5 years ago. He is good at studying, driving, and playing the guitar. His favorite Japanese artist is the B'z. I like the B'z, too. 

I have a sister-in-law, too. Her name is Saori, and she works at the same hospital. She is a nurse, and my older brother and she got married last May. She is very kind to us. I sometimes eat supper with Saori. She gave birth to a baby this April 26th. She named the baby “Yumi”. She is a girl, and she is very cute. I have become an aunt. Hello! Today, I want to introduce about the best day in my life. I have been studying English for 14 years, and I had been to Washington Foreign Language School for 12 years. The result of the exam of Japanese history was the worst. I had to take a make-up in that subject. I had cheated on the examination. I thought that I would never be found by the teacher. The teacher took away my answer sheet, and I was considered to be cheating. I was subject to a 2-week confinement to my house. I was very shocked. I was not able to take even the examination for my designated school recommendation. I was not able to participate in the chorus club, and I was not able to participate in the chorus contest. I was not able to join the sports festival, either. So I began to go to juku. I studied desperately, and I was able to pass the examination of this university. This is the worst day in my life. Hi there! Today, I want to introduce my hometown. I was born in Arao in 1994, but I live in Kumamoto city now. I have been living in Kumamoto prefecture for 21 years. Do you know where Kumamoto prefecture is? Kumamoto city is in the Kyushu region. There are 74 million people in Kumamoto city. There are a lot of famous places in Kumamoto city, too, such as Kumamoto Castle, Mt. Aso, Fujisaki shrine, Suizenji Park, Ezu Lake, and Kumamoto Station, which are all very famous places.

 

Kumamoto city is called “Water and the forest city”. In 2012, Kumamoto city was authorized to be an ordinance-designated city.

Kumamoto Castle was built in 1604, and it was built by Kato Kiyomasa. People living in Kumamoto speak Kumamoto dialect. It’s very interesting. By the way, have you ever eaten horse meat? What do you think about horse meat? It’s very yummy and healthy. Also, mustard lotus-root is very delicious. I don’t like it because it’s too spicy. Kumamoto’s vegetables (for example; tomatoes, watermelons, green peppers, spinaches, and the others) are very fresh and delicious.

 

             There was a municipal of the prefecture department store, but it closed on February 28^th, in 2015. I was very shocked because I liked the department store very much. But there is a department store in Kumamoto city. It is Tsuruya. There are a lot of clothes, watches, food, jewelries, bags, cosmetics, flowers, restaurants, and the others. There is a beer garden in Tsuruya, too. But I have never been there.

              Do you know Kumamon? Kumamon is a mascot character in Kumamoto city. It is very strange, but it is very cute. Did you understand about Kumamoto’s history? If you come to Kumamoto city, I will tell you where to go. I look forward to coming you to Kumamoto someday.

I like my hometown very much because Kumamoto city is a very nice place to live.

I have a future sister-in-law, too. Her name is Saori, and she works at the same hospital. She is a nurse, and my older brother and she will get married next month. She is very kind to me.
