My treasure

Today, I want to introduce about my treasure. My treasure is my pendant. This is very cute, isn't it? On Monday, in July 3rd, I went to yakiniku shop with my parents, my older brother, my sister-in-law, and my relations who lived in Canada, and my relations gave me a wonderful present. When I opened the box, there was a very beautiful pendant in it. I liked it very much. I like blue very much, and I was very happy. The cost was 18,900 yen. I love yakiniku, and I love this pendant.

Today, I want to introduce about this book. This book is about UFO and aliens. Have you ever seen UFO? In this book, in 1897, something strange happened in the town of Aurora, Texas. Children playing in a field saw a strange “ship” fly over and then crash into a farm building. Can you believe it? I can't believe it. Since 1897, thousands of people have said that they have seen strange flying spaceships. It is called “UFO”. UFO is Unidentified flying objects. Also, UFOs sells newspapers and many newspaper men want to use UFOs in their stories. I can't understand why UFOs sells it. I can't believe it, too.

I read this book two weeks ago. The title of this book is “Australia and New Zealand”. What do you think about Australia? Today, I want to introduce about Australia mainly. Which country would you like to travel, Australia, or New Zealand? If you want to see extraordinary animals, birds, and plants, I think that Australia is a very very very nice place to go. The kangaroo is one Australian animal that everybody knows. Of course, you can see koalas, too. The biggest of the fifty different kinds is the red kangaroo.  Also, there are many famous places to visit. Do you know Opera house? Do you know where the Opera house is? How about Sydney Harbor bridge, and Surfers Paradise? Where would you like to visit in Australia? I really want to go to Australia during summer vacations. I like Australia better than New Zealand. I want to see koalas and kangaroos. There are 23 million people in Australia. Aussie beef , fish and chips, Australian meat pie is very popular in Australia. Of course, people who living in Australia speaks English.

“The Kobe Earthquake” (P.38)

I read this book a week ago. The title of this book is "Disaster!". What do you think about disasters? Do you feel scary, unbearable, or unbelievable? You know about the Kobe earthquake, the great East Japan earthquake, and the others, don't you? Japan has always had earthquakes. In 1923, there was a very big earthquake in Tokyo prefecture on 1st September, which killed 143,000 people. However, in 2011, there was a very big earthquake, too. It is called "East Japan great earthquake disaster". No one thought that the huge earthquake would occur. I think that earthquakes, floods, and landslide disaster is very scary for me.  Probably, I cannot endure it.

Last Saturday

Last Saturday was very hot, wasn't it? I went to school to study last Saturday. My parents told me to study harder at school, but I went to the town. I did not have enough time to go to the town so far, so I went there after a long absence. I went to TSUTAYA, FRESHNESS BURGER, and a penny arcade. I ate barbecue pineapple burger and French fries, and I drank mango smoothie. I had a very good time. I have to study harder and harder to get credits. I wanted to go to Starbucks, but I sometimes go there near the university. They were very delicious. There was the finals of the baseball of the high school  at Kumamoto Fujisakidai Baseball stadium on last Saturday.  The high school where I went to participates in Koshien. I was very surprised to hear that.

My summer vacation's plan

I think that this summer vacation is very busy for me. Also, I think that I will not have enough time to play with my friends. I really want to go to Karaoke, Starbucks, and Baskin-Robbins with my friends during summer vacation. However, I don't have enough money. I have to go for internship, and I have to study the public employee lecture at school. I cannot go for a part-time job during the internship. I am very shocked. Last summer vacation was really fun for me. I look forward to the internship. I will work in a cafe in Kumamoto Station. Please come if you are free.

Today, I want to introduce about my treasure. My treasure is my watch. Here it is. Look at this watch. This is a watch of the brands called LUKIA of SEIKO. Of course, you know SEIKO, don’t you? My parents bought it as a commemoration of my 20th birthday. Do you think that this watch is how much? This watch was approximately 63,000 yen. Can you believe it? The color of this watch is pink gold. There were many kinds of watches at the department store, but I chose it. Also, this watch is a solar electric wave. I like this watch very much, and I like pink very much. As for this watch, a needle stops suddenly. I was very surprised when a needle stopped suddenly. I put on this watch on a special day, but I put on this watch today. When my parents bought the watch, I was very happy. I never lose it because this watch is very expensive.

BR : 1-08 “Martin Luther King”

“A man from Alabama” (P.1)

I read this book yesterday. The title of this book is “Martin Luther King”. Do you know him? Of course, you know about him, don't you? He is a clergyman of the Protestantism Baptist group of the United States of America. His speech(“I have a dream”) is very famous and is known to everyone. He was born as a son of Baptist group clergyman Michael Luther King in Georgia, Atlanta, in 1929. I learned his speech and him during seminar.  He did this famous speech in front of Lincoln Valhall in Washington grand march on August 28, in 1963. King was dedicated to the elimination of racial discrimination. This speech appealed for abolition of the racial discrimination and a noble ideal called each racial Kyowa with a concise writing style, and this speech arose sympathy from it widely. He was shot with a white man on April 4, 1968 by scoundrel of the cumulative offense, James Earl Ray and was assassinated afterwards. I like his speech, and the speech cheers me up.

Yesterday

I had three classes yesterday. One is English philology introduction, and the others are Japanese modern history and English grammar. I have slept during class. I sometimes stay up late, so I often sleep during class. I was not able to concentrate on a class. I had a part-time job after school, too. In addition, lotteries began in Seven-Eleven from this month. You can pull one piece of lottery when you buy it more than 700 yen. Everything is OK. When the lottery of the hit appears, we must bring the product of the hit. I was very tired. I don't have a part-time job today, so I can relax. I think that lotteries should be over early.

Today's plan

I got up at 8:10 this morning. I had toast, omelet, a glass of Calpis, and chicken. Then, I washed my face. I didn't have enough time to wear contact lenses, so I wore glasses. I wanted to go to the convenience store to buy lunch and a cigarette, but my parents told me not to buy a cigarette. I gave up buying it. I went to school by bicycle. I bought only lunch at the bakery near my house. I thought that I was late for a school, but I was in time. I have two classes today. I sometimes sleep during class. Therefore, I intend to concentrate on a class. I will go to the library after school, and I have to prepare for the tomorrow's announcement. I hope that the announcement goes well. I want to go to Baskin-Robbins again, but I don't have enough money to buy it. I think that I don't enough time to go to club activities today. I'm very sleepy. I'm so sleepy. I intend to go to bed early. I have to get up early tomorrow, and I don't listen to music today. I don't have a part-time job today, so I'm happy.

Ice cream

I went to Baskin-Robbins alone last Friday near my house. I ate “Challenge the Triple”. Do you know this? You can order three kind of favorite ice cream. I ordered fruity dew sorbet, thirty one party, and blueberry panna cotta. Because I ate ice cream I was full. I have not eaten ice crepe yet, so I want to eat it sometime. I love Baskin-Robbins. Today

I got up at 7:15 this morning. I left home at 8:40. I didn't have breakfast, so I went to McDonald’s to have breakfast. I had big breakfast and a hashed potato. I went to McDonald’s after a long absence. I bought salt bread and melon bread at the bakery near my house. This salt bread is very salty and delicious. There are many kinds of bread and Danish pastry. Especially, salt bread and curry bread are very delicious. I love them. There were 4 classes today. I felt sleepy. I had dinner late. I have to get up early tomorrow. I intend to go to bed early.

My favorite place

My favorite place is of course Kumamoto city. I have been living in Kumamoto city for 21 years. There are a lot of famous places in Kumamoto city, and vegetables are very fresh. I have visited Kumamoto Castle twice. I like Kumamoto's people very much. Also, Kumamoto's water is very clean and good. I like Canada, too. Why? This is why my relatives live in Canada. They came to Japan 4 days before for sightseeing. My parents brought them to Amakusa to have a meal with them. I wanted to go, but there were four classes on Mondays. I was very shocked. However, I went to eat yakiniku with them. I love Kumamoto city. I really want to live in Canada, but I want to live in Kumamoto city forever. I would like to go to Canada after graduating from KGU. I like horse meat, but I don’t like mustard lotus root. I can’t eat it because it’s too spicy.

I love sweets. My favorite sweets is cream puff, ice cream, soft ice cream, éclair, roll cake, chocolate cake, baked cheese cake, unbaked cheese cake, American cheese cake, pudding, a strawberry shortcake, parfait, panna cotta, fruit tart, mitsumame topped with bean jam, cookies, doughnuts, shaved ice, sorbet, almond jelly, fruit jelly, ice candy, chocolate pie, Frappuccino, and the others. I like apple pies, but I don’t like apple pies of McDonald’s. I don’t know why I don’t like apple pies of McDonald’s. I sometimes buy dessert at the convenience store, Baskin-Robbins, and the supermarket near my house. I don’t want to gain my weight any more. My parents told me not to buy some desserts. I read this book today, and the title of this book is “NURSING”. What do you think about nurse? Everybody knows that nurse is a person who takes care of patients. In this book, a lot of people have mental health problems at some time in their lives? What is mental health? Mental health is not just the absence of mental disorder. It is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community. I didn't know what mental health was. My older sister-in-law works at the Saiseikai Kumamoto hospital as a public health nurse. I do not understand the feeling of a nurse, but I think that a nurse is very serious. Also, nurses cooperate with doctors and thinks that they must never let patients die. Do you know Florence Nightingale? She is a British nurse. When I was a junior high school student, I read her book. 

My older brother was going to aim at the doctor, but he works as a radiologist now at the hospital. They look very busy. I don't want to be a nurse and a doctor. I choose this book and think that it was very good.

“Valentine’s Day” and “Thanksgiving” (P. 4, 14)

I read this book yesterday. The title of this book is “Seasons and Celebrations”. There are four seasons in Japan, and there are many kinds of celebrations all over the world. What kinds of celebrations do you like the best, and why do you like it? How many celebrations do you know? I think that the most important celebration for American is “Thanksgiving Day”. Do you know this celebration? The date of “Thanksgiving Day” in the US has changed three times, but it is now the fourth in November. In Canada, it is now the second Monday in October. As for this celebration, it is the large-scale dinner party that many relatives and friends gather for on the modern Thanksgiving Day and is placed with one of the important family events in the US. How about “Valentine’s Day”? People send each other Valentine’s cards, chocolate, and the other things. However, there is the person to give cookies and cake, a muffler recently without being particular about favorite chocolate. The point that point that it is often found to give from a woman a man and most of the thing to give it are limited to chocolate is a big characteristic on Japanese Valentine's Day. This is a very interesting book. I always celebrate Christmas, New Year's Day, and Valentine's Day with my family.

Hello! Today, I want to introduce about the best day in my life. I have been studying English for 14 years, and I had been to Washington Foreign Language School for 12 years. When I was a junior high school student, I participated in an English Recitation Contest for three years. There were two English teachers in junior high school, and they were very kind to me. There were more than 100 students. It was scheduled every school year. I was very nervous when I stood the on stage, but I was able to speak calmly. I was not able to win a gold prize, but it was an amazing experience to me. I like studying English. I studied English harder and harder. I want to go to Canada after graduating from KGU. I want to meet my relatives, too. These are best days in my life.

I want to introduce about worst day in my life. When I was a high school student, I didn't like Japanese history. I didn't like my Japanese history teacher. The result of the exam of Japanese history was the worst. I had to take a make-up in that subject. I had cheated on the examination. I thought that I would never be found by the teacher. The teacher took away my answer sheet, and I was considered to be cheating. I was subject to a 2-week confinement to my house. I was very shocked. I was not able to take even the examination for my designated school recommendation. I was not able to participate in the chorus club, and I was not able to participate in the chorus contest. I was not able to join the sports festival, either. So I began to go to juku. I studied desperately, and I was able to pass the examination of this university. This is the worst day in my life. I don’t want to remember that, but it is a memorable day for me.

I got up at 7:30, and I had toast, salad, and a glass of milk. I had a stomachache this morning. I took some medicine. After I took some medicine, I felt much better. My parents came to the university to see me off. There are 4 classes on Mondays. Reading class, modern education theory class, specialize seminar class, and speaking class. I had the class of the public employee lecture after a class, but I took a rest today. My older brother came to pick me up to the university. I went to eat yakiniku with my parents, my older brother, my older sister-in-law, and relatives who lived in Canada. It is “Tobou”, and it is near from Kumamoto station. One is from Canada, and the other is from China. Their names are Miho and Spence. He speaks Chinese and English. He is interested in cars and watches. His parents live in Hong Kong. He speaks English better than me. I talked with my relatives in English. I talked about cars and his interests a lot, and I had a very good time. We ate pudding after meal, too. I was very happy to meet them. My relatives gave me a wonderful girt. When I opened the box, it was a pretty pendant. I was very happy. I want to be careful with the pendant. Please come to Kumamoto someday. I look forward to seeing you.

I had used my sofa more than 20 years. My father took it to garbage yesterday. I did not want my father to throw away the sofa. My best friend

Today, I want to introduce about my best friend. Her name is Narumi. She goes to the same university. Her department is Hospitality Management. She became 21 years old yesterday, and I celebrated her. She lives in Koshi city, and she has a younger brother. I have never talked to him. I have known her since I was a high school student. She is shorter than me, but she is very charming. She was good at math and science. I meet her after second period every Monday. I talk about our school life or the Internship. When we were high school students, we belonged to the chorus club. She was an alto part, and I was a mezzo-soprano part. We practiced each other. I like her everything. Her favorite Japanese singer is Fukuyama Masaharu and EXILE, and so do I. She went to Singapore and Malaysia for a school trip. I went to Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, so I felt sad. We are still good friends. I want to go to Universal Studio Japan with her during the summer vacation.

The kind of the dog which I like is American Shorthairs, Russian Blues, Persian cats, and the others. To make good pets, kittens have to get used to people before they are eight weeks old. I didn't know that. I really want a cat in the future.

Today, I got up at 8:30 in the morning. I slept on the sofa at 1 o’clock. I thought that I overslept. I had toast, a glass of milk, pudding, and salad this morning. I wore contact lenses. I always wear my glasses, but I sometimes wear contact lenses. I went to 7-Eleven to buy lunch. I rode city train. Then, I walked to school. I have 2 classes on Wednesdays. It is writing 3 class and Japanese classical literature class. I want to get a credit for writing 3. I sometimes sleep during the class, so I intend to sleep early today. I have a circle on Wednesdays. Our circle makes accessories and small articles, but we haven’t done a thing like a circle activity yet. We have a school festival and parade in October and November. We have to prepare for it.

I read this book. The title of the book is “The USA”. It is a little difficult to understand, but it is very interesting book. What do you think about the United States? What does America mean to you? Skyscrapers, President George Washington, President Kennedy, fast food, big cars, cowboys, black people ivory, or something? I think that the United States is famous for American football, baseball, ice hockey, basketball, the Statue of Liberty, fast food, Central Park, Grand Canyon, and Times Square. There are a lot of famous places in the United States, too. Think of a big, empty land with mountains, forests, lakes, animals and fish, but no people. This was America 30,000 years ago. I can’t believe it. It has a lot of history in the United States. You know that there are 50 states in the United States, don’t you? I didn't know that Florida was known as the “Sunset State” because it was so warm and sunny. Many people who live in the United States like fast food. In addition, pizza, hamburger, steak, Coca-Cola, and the others are very huge. I want to go to the United States, but I don’t want to gain weight.

My favorite drink

My favorite drink is cola, orange juice, apple juice, grape juice, milk tea, ice tea, green tea, beer, coffee, chocolate shake, ginger ale, cocktails, and bourbon. I like tomatoes, but I don’t like tomato juice. I don’t like vegetable juice and sparkling wine, either. I can’t drink red or white wine and Japanese sake. And I don't like grapefruit juice. I tried to drink tequila and whiskey, but I had a hangover two years ago. I like fruit juice. I have drunk bourbon, tequila, and whiskey. They have high alcohol frequency. However, these are very delicious. I sometimes buy beer at the convenience store. I like drinking very much.

I read this book. The title of the book is “King Midas and the Gold”. It is a very interesting book, and it is easy to read.
It is about King Midas, who was rich and old man gave him his wish. He wanted everything he touched to turn to gold. But he found out that his wish was not a good thing. Unfortunately, he went to the river and lost his wish. I want to be a rich person too, but I would not make the wish that King Midas made.
He was a real king, and he lived in ancient Greece around 3,000 years ago. I can't believe it. I would like to travel Greece someday.

My favorite singer

My favorite Japanese singer is Miwa. Do you know her? She is a singer-songwriter who was born in Kanagawa prefecture, in 1990. She will be 25 years old this month. Her height is 148.9 centimeters tall. Miwa is very charming, and she is very cute. She can play the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and piano. Her favorite Japanese singer is Momoiro Clover Z. I like her everything. I want to become like her. I always listen to her songs every night. How cute she is! I wanted to play the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and piano. My favorite song is “Faith”, “Don’t cry anymore”, “ONENESS” and “change”. These songs are very nice.

Welcome party in Tsurukame

Last Wednesday, our circle held a welcome party for freshman. It was an Italian food and French restaurant. The name of the shop is called “Tsurukame”, and it is in Shimotori. We ate cheese fondue, diced steak, bagna càuda, Chinese-style fried chicken topped with chopped scallions and sweet vinegar and soy sauce, Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino, and cream pasta of uncured ham and spinaches. I drank cocktail of the fuzzy navel, two glasses of beer, bourbon, three glasses of orange juice, and cola. I drank too much alcohol, so I seemed to have a headache. However, I had to preside. We ate fruit parfait, chocolate parfait, strawberry parfait, mango parfait, strawberry ice cream, natto parfait, coconut parfait, chocolate ice cream, and kiwi fruit parfait after meal, too. (Huh?) I didn’t know who order parfait so much. I seemed to have a stomachache. But, it was delicious. I thought that natto parfait was not delicious. I didn't eat natto parfait because I don't like natto.

 We had a very good time. I want to go someday.

By the way, have you ever drunk bourbon? I have drunk bourbon twice. Bourbon has high alcohol frequency. However, it’s very delicious. I like beer better than bourbon.

Hello there! Today, I want to introduce myself. It is 2035, and I am 41 years old. I live in London with my husband and my children. My husband’s name is Akira. He is 47 years old, and he is 6 years older than me. He is very kind to us because he sometimes buys many kinds of things. He is a Japanese person, but he can speak English, French, German, Chinese, Spanish, and Italian. He had lived in Spain, France, Germany, China, America, and Italy. He is very good at cooking, too. His job is a pilot, so he sometimes travels around the world. He doesn’t smoke, but he loves alcohol. His parents live in Tokyo.

I have two daughters and a son. Their names are Yui, Tomomi, and Satoshi. Yui is 7 years old, and she is very good at playing the piano. She has been practicing the piano since she was three years old. Yui also likes to play volleyball with her friends. Her dream is to become a pianist or a professional volleyball player. Her favorite pianist is Nobuyuki Tsujii, Mozart, Chopin, and Schumann.

Tomomi is 4 years old, and she is a girl who is a spoilt crybaby very much. However, she is very affable. She is interested in drums. Her favorite drummer is Shane Gaalaas. The food she hates is fish, but she loves vegetables, meat, and fruits.

Satoshi is 14 years old. His dream is to become a baseball player. He always plays baseball with his friends after school. He is a member of baseball club. His position is a catcher. Satoshi likes to listen to music. His favorite British artist is the Beatles. He likes Sir James Paul McCartney. He is interested in the  bass guitar. He is a left-handed person. He wants to buy a bass guitar which is left-handed. Yui and Satoshi always help me, and they sometimes take care of Tomomi. 

              My parents still live in Kumamoto prefecture. I feel a little sad, but I sometimes chat with my parents. I like my family very much.

I read this book. This title of the book is “Recycling”. I was very impressed when I read this book. It was I think that pollution is the biggest problems in the world today. There are 7.2 billion people in the world, and many people rubbish something. If you live in Los Angeles, New York, London, or everywhere, you probably throw away about forty kilograms every week. Can you believe it? There are laws about pollution and recycling for each country.

There are a lot of things you can do. The first thing is “Don’t waste food, water, energy, materials, or something.” If you do this, you can reduce garbage.

The second one is to buy recycled products. Many people think that it is very dirty or useless.

The third one is to take your own shopping bag. Many people have been using their own bag, but few people have been using plastic bag. It is not good for you.

I sometimes waste something, so I have to recycle or reuse to reduce garbage.

My favorite food is sushi, sashimi, tempura, horse meat, curry and rice spaghetti, hamburger, beef steak, cream stew, beef stew, cookies, ice cream, pudding, cream puff, waffle, Caesar salad, udon, Chinese noodles, sandwiches, Taipien, French fries, hashed potatoes, chicken nugget, fruit cake, chocolate cake, rice ball apple pie, crepe, omelet, cheese cake, yakiniku, sukiyaki, yakisoba, takoyaki, potato salads, asari clam, granola, pan cakes, hotdog, pork cutlet, katsudon, a bowl of rice topped with beef, a bowl of rice topped with chicken and eggs, and the others. Congratulations!!!!!

Last Saturday was my older brother’s wedding ceremony. The wedding ceremony was fantastic. I wore long-sleeved kimono. Wedding dress and cocktail dress which my older sister-in-law wore were very beautiful. I met my cousin who lived in Tokyo after a long absence. Meals were very delicious, too. Of course, kurotomesode which my mother wore was very beautiful. 150 people came to the wedding ceremony. I met friends of is junior high school era. I was very happy because they remembered me, so I talked a lot. I talked his boss for the first time. He seems to be very tender.

 

I had a very good time, but I was very tired after the wedding ceremony. I had a part-time job, too. My older brother and older sister-in-law came to my house yesterday at noon. I gave the latest coffee maker, tip, and two pairs of chopsticks for husband and wife to them. They liked it very much. I thought that it was good to buy them heartily. I want them to be happy.

 

My cousin went back to Tokyo. I didn’t feel sad because I sometimes chat with her. I think that it is her wedding ceremony that I meet her. I look forward to meeting her again.

My favorite shop

My favorite shop is Starbucks and Baskin-Robbins. I like ice cream and Frappuccino very much. I sometimes go to Starbucks and Baskin-Robbins once a month. My favorite flavor is strawberry cheese cake, banana and strawberry, carnival, triple fruit garden, hopping shower, and lemon mascarpone cheese cake. I rarely eat vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, green tea ice cream, mask melon, and orange sorbet. I have never eaten Burgundy cherry and blueberry panna cotta yet, so I want to eat it. I want to work at Starbucks or Baskin-Robbins someday.

Essay 1-03: My Hometown

Hi there! Today, I want to introduce my hometown. I was born in Arao in 1994, but I live in Kumamoto city now. I have been living in Kumamoto prefecture for 21 years. Do you know where Kumamoto prefecture is? Kumamoto city is in the Kyushu region. There are 74 million people in Kumamoto city. There are a lot of famous places in Kumamoto city, too, such as Kumamoto Castle, Mt. Aso, Fujisaki shrine, Suizenji Park, Ezu Lake, and Kumamoto Station, which are all very famous places.

 

Kumamoto city is called “Water and the forest city”. In 2012, Kumamoto city was authorized to be an ordinance-designated city.

Kumamoto Castle was built in 1604, and it was built by Kato Kiyomasa. People living in Kumamoto speak Kumamoto dialect. It’s very interesting. By the way, have you ever eaten horse meat? What do you think about horse meat? It’s very yummy and healthy. Also, mustard lotus-root is very delicious. I don’t like it because it’s too spicy. Kumamoto’s vegetables (for example; tomatoes, watermelons, green peppers, spinaches, and the others) are very fresh and delicious.

 

             There was a municipal of the prefecture department store, but it closed on February 28^th, in 2015. I was very shocked because I liked the department store very much. But there is a department store in Kumamoto city. It is Tsuruya. There are a lot of clothes, watches, food, jewelries, bags, cosmetics, flowers, restaurants, and the others. There is a beer garden in Tsuruya, too. But I have never been there.

              Do you know Kumamon? Kumamon is a mascot character in Kumamoto city. It is very strange, but it is very cute. Did you understand about Kumamoto’s history? If you come to Kumamoto city, I will tell you where to go. I look forward to coming you to Kumamoto someday.

I like my hometown very much because Kumamoto city is a very nice place to live.

What I do this weekend

My older brother and sister-in-law get married this Saturday. 150 people will come to the wedding ceremony. I am going to wear long-sleeved kimono. Colors are light blue and pink. I am looking forward to the wedding ceremony because I can meet his boss, co-workers, and friends. But I am very nervous. I want to bless my older brother grandly. Congratulations!!!!! I went to Amakusa with my mother to see my grandparents. It took 6 hours to arrive, so I was very tired. My grandparents and aunt gave pocket money to me. My mother and I bought some cake. The name of the shop is called “BONGOUT”. There are many kinds of bread, cake, and baked sweets, too. I ate mango cake. It was very delicious.

 

My mother and I took my grandma to go for a lunch. My mother and grandma ate kuruma prawn’s tempura set meal, but I ate fried prawns set meal.

 

When I was driving my car, I saw a very beautiful sunset. It was like a Hawaiian sunset.

About my part-time job

 Today, I want to introduce my part-time job. I work at the convenience store near my house three times a week. It is “7-Eleven”. There are a lot of things. For example, rice ball, sandwiches, desserts, everyday dishes, Japanese sake, beer, wine, drinks, magazines, comic books, commodities, snacks, oden, cigarettes, and the others.

 

Especially, many people buy cigarettes, fries, and alcohol. There are many kinds of fries, too. Croquettes, spring rolls, fried cake of minced meat, corn dogs, French fries, and sausages are very delicious. I have to operate a cash register. It is very hard for me to understand, but I enjoy working. My boss is very kind to me.

 

I sometimes buy croquettes, desserts, rice ball, lunch, sandwiches, and drinks after working. I rarely buy cigarettes because I don’t smoke. Please come to 7-Eleven someday.  I'm looking forward to coming to 7-Eleven!!! Thank you very much!!!!

I have an older brother. My older brother works at the Kumamoto Saiseikai hospital. He is 27 years old, and he is a radiologist. His name is Seiya. He is very smart and flexible. He treats me like a kid, too. He is as tall as my father. He graduated from Kumamoto University 4 years ago. He is good at studying and playing the guitar. His favorite Japanese artist is the B’z. I like the B’z, too. 

 

I have a future sister-in-law, too. Her name is Saori, and she works at the same hospital. She is a nurse, and my older brother and she will get married next month. She is very kind to me. I sometimes eat supper with Saori. I am looking forward to the wedding party. I like my family because they are very close to each other. I don’t want them to divorce. This is my treasure. My favorite place is of course Kumamoto city. Why do I think so? There are a lot of famous places in Kumamoto. For example, Kumamoto Castle, Mt. Aso, Fujisaki shrine of the god of war. Do you know the meaning of “sashiyori”? This word means “toriaezu” in Kumamoto dialect.In 2012, Kumamoto city shifted to the ordinance-designated city.  I like many kinds of flowers. My favorite flower is lilies, roses, gerberas, tulips, morning glory, amaryllises, forget-me-nots, periwinkles, carnations, sunflowers, dandelions, hydrangeas, pansies, cosmoses, phalaenopsis, oxlips, azaleas, rape blossoms, lily of the valleys, and the others. Why? This is because these flowers are very beautiful. I think smells are very good. However, I didn’t know what forget-me-not was. Furthermore, I just knew the name of this flower by the title of the song. Forget-me-not means “true love”. It sounds like wonderful. Flower has many languages of flowers. For example, lily means "purity". Carnation means "love to mother". Sunflower means "glory". Lily of the valley means "happiness". Cosmos means "beauty". Tulip means "everlasting love". It's very interesting and understandable. I don't want to work at flower shop, but I like these kinds of flowers very much.
